For your consideration…

We mention the importance of silence…pray… meditation…every day. It is so important to our well-being. Today’s message talks about observing the silence.

Many people say they can’t meditate. The truth is we all struggle sometimes. Some days are better than others. Why is that? Because our mind is a major “processor.” It is busy. It takes work to silence it.

Today we are reminded to not judge ourselves but instead to observe. Notice what wants to come in. Often they are things we want or need to do…tasks. Sometimes it is a problem or concern. Observe those thoughts. Ask where they are coming from. If they are judgmental or lecturing, they are from the ego. Decide not to give it power. However, sometimes our thoughts are from our Guidance. We know this because it is loving and non-judgmental. Make note for later.

Whatever the thoughts that come in,  thank it and let it go. Remind yourself that you can get back to it later or not. You have the power.

We are asked to observe our thoughts for what they are and where they come from, one by one let them go until we can simply observe the silence.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Observe the silence.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Many tasks done.

-A good book.

-Catching up with both my girls and Jackie.

-My new fire stick.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
