For your consideration…

It seems like we have had this message recently or at least a version of it. Usually we get a repeat or different version because either I missed something or the person(s) why need to hear it did not see it the first time or because one or more of us have not paid attention.

If we are truthful with ourselves we know that no one is always right all of the time. And if we are truthful with ourselves, we know that hardly ever do we have a complete story.

We develop our stories, develop our opinions and conclusions based on who we know, what we see around us, what we read, what we were taught etc. We do the best we can to make our story the best it can be.

What we are asked to remember is other people are doing the same thing and based on all they have been exposed to, they may come up with different conclusions. What is most important to them make be different from what is most important to us. And that is ok.

It is ok that we do not see things the same way. What is important is that we remember that no one is completely right because no one has the complete picture. We are all the same. Maybe we know things they don’t and they know things we don’t. What is important is that we learn to listen with open hearts and minds. Communicate with honesty and compromise not only for our highest good but the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps any one can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Listen with an open heart and mind.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A fun day in the kitchen.

-Finished the last book in a series.

-Doug and Liz came for dinner. It was fun catching up.

-Shannon got her “girl cave.”

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
