For your consideration…

I love the song “The Story of Our Lives.” And I love when our messages come in via a song. But this is not how today’s message came in. It came in via The Gingerbread Man.

In grade school we read many versions of the same story ie; The Gingerbread Man, The Three Little Pigs. It is a good tool to help them identify the characters that are the same or different, differences in the illustrations, differences in the plot etc.

We are often told that we are exactly where we are supposed to be at exactly when we are supposed to be as part of Divine Timing and Divine Purpose. The part we don’t often think about is the part of our “free will. What we choose to do in the moment we are in is up to us. Over and over again we are given situations to learn our life lessons. The operative word there is our.

As overwhelmed as we may be or as uncertain, it is imperative that we make the decisions of our life….write our own story. It is imperative that we use our free will to do the best we can. Our free will is an inherent part of the power of our authentic self. We are asked to let go of fear and promise ourselves to just do the best we can in the moment we are in. It is all that is asked of us. It is enough.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

Affirm…”I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make our own choices. Right our own stories

What make me smile yesterday…

-A very chill and relaxed Christmas morning.

-Great gifts.

-A fun day with family and friends.

-A fabulous dinner.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
