For your consideration…

Habits…we tend to hyper-focus on our bad ones and take our good ones for granted.

It is said that it takes 21 days to break or create a habit. It seems like an eternity when we are trying to break a bad one but time flies when we are creating a good one. Yet without judgment we can see they are exactly the same, the balance of opportunity exactly the same.

We are in a season of love, joy, HOPE and rebirth. We are asked to create a habit versus a resolution. We are asked to start today and not wait for the new year. Think about it. If we start today, we will be more than half way there on New Year’s Day and will be able to see and feel our success coming to fruition. We will be on the exciting part of the journey where we can celebrate the new us.

We are asked to soak in all that the Christmas season puts before us. Feel the promise and share it everywhere. It is our authentic self reborn. Let it step forward and take charge of our lives. Let us live authentically each and every day.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm…“I am love.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water. Let it cleanse our body, mind and spirit and refresh it.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let the spirit of the season become a habit.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Wonderful Freshman.

-I was out of school and had about 6 tasks done and was home by 4:15. Wahoo!

-A good book.

-Bruce’s truck was all fixed. $800 dollars later. Sound bad? NOT! It is almost fifteen years old and besides a couple of new batteries that is all he has put into it. That truck is a real bargain.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
