For your consideration…

We don’t think about it much, the difference between solitude and loneliness. We may think they are the same, but they are very difference. Solitude is being alone without being lonely.

We might say or think that we want to be alone but what we really seek is solitude. No one wants to be lonely. Solitude is comforting. Loneliness is painful.

Today we are being of the pain of loneliness for two reasons. First, we are asked to be on the lookout for those who are lonely. We are asked to reach out and make sure they know they are valued and loved.

Second, we are reminded that loneliness is a feeling. We are never really alone. We are all loved. We need to open our hearts to the love of our Guidance. We are reminded to reach out and seek the love of others and give love to others.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Open our hearts to see the lonely and reach out.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Lots of cooking. Love it.

-Bruce is working out. Wahoo.

-I’m staying with Mac and AJ for the weekend.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
