For your consideration…

We all make mistakes. We all have used poor judgments. We all have said or done things we wish we good take back. Mistakes and missteps are part of life.

Our message today asks us to see them as they are…learning experiences. We are asked to suspend self-judgment and punishment and not let them scar our heart. We are asked to not focus on the mistake but on the person we have become instead. The best way forward is being a better self and not making the same mistake again.

I love this Louise Hay quote…

“I love myself for all my mistakes and missteps. They have been very valuable to me.

They have taught me many things. It is the way I learn.

I am willing to stop punishing myself for my mistakes.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…I am loved.”

-Affirm…”I am willing to stop punishing myself for my mistakes.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Breakfast with Carol at our club.

-Great deals at Joann Fabrics afterward.

-Bills paid and household tasks done.

-Christmas cards done.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
