For your consideration…

Today’s message is probably not what you think.

We are encouraged to help others. We are encouraged to be personally responsible. We have many messages about that.

Today’s message is about the flip side, the receiving end. Givers can often be reluctant to accept assistance. After all, if we can do it ourselves why accept help? We are asked to remember that being a giver is a blessing. It is an opportunity to grow, gain perspective, lighten the load, save time etc. Remember, “Many hands make hard work light.” Don’t deny others that opportunity and blessing. Accept assistance in the spirit it is offered.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask….”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?’

-Give and receive assistance in the same spirit.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Great students. Fun projects on Halloween day.

-No rain for the trick or treaters.

-Lunch with Jul was fun.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
