For your consideration…

How do I know?

We are constantly in search for answers. Sometimes we just know. Sometimes we sort through and are able to find the answers we seek. Sometimes the answers elude us.

So what do we do if no matter what we do, the answers we seek elude us? Perhaps we do nothing. That is OK if no immediate action is required. However, if action is required, we have to use what we do know and then take a leap of “faith.”

Faith is what today’s message is about. Faith is believing that what we do know is enough and assurance that God has the rest handled. We don’t know because we don’t need to know. We are reminded to not focus on what we don’t know. Instead focus on what we know, celebrate it, believe in it…have Faith in it.

It seems to mean that this of late is a common theme. I also get the sense that it is because so many of us are feeling tired and weary. We are worried about everything that is surrounding us. Social media has gives the illusion that everything is much bigger than it is. In reality, if we suspend judgment, everything is exactly as it has always been. We get to know what we know and leave the rest to God. It is exactly as it has always been.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Have Faith. It is all good.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Lunch with Alex.

-We were able to get a quick doctor appointment for Bruce.

-A good book.

-Good night’s snooze. I have always been a great sleeper. In the last year I have learned to be grateful for that because it is not always the case.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
