For your consideration…

Yeah, personal responsibility can be tough at times. Our message today acknowledges that and also acknowledges that sometimes we can be overwhelmed. So they offer us this encouraging tip. “Chunk it up.”

When we take a high level look a task can seem overwhelming and unachievable. But if we chunk it up, we see chunks that are doable and soon as the chunks pile up, we see that the task was indeed achievable.

We are asked today to just do a chunk or a piece of the chunk. Too many bills, pay one or a little on several. Overflowing closet, take a few out and donate a bag. Perhaps it is a good time when you are switching your closet from summer to winter clothes. Can’t get into the exercise routine or steps you need in, do the stairs or a few exercises at home. Take a shorter walk. The basement is a mess (this is for me) take one or two boxes out on trash day or put a box in the car to donate.

There is power in individual, personal responsibility. Tackle a piece of something you think is impossible. Start to clean up those things that just nag at you.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Tackle a task.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A good nights snooze.

-Vickie and I found our friend, Jul. So happy for that. We pray God keeps her safe.

-When your heart is breaking and scared, it is good to have a friend hold it together until you can breathe again. Thanks Vic.

-The trip back home seemed a lot shorter coming back.

-Lots of catching up with friends and family. Love you all.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
