The Discovery

“The Discovery” by Josephine Wall

For your consideration…

In one of the schools I teach at they have a mindfulness program. I is really awesome. I am sure I have mentioned it before. I have also mentioned the song they sing at the end of it that our kiddos love. I won’t repeat the whole thing today but one of the lines is the subject of today’s message.

When I look out, I touch everything.”

We are energy beings co-mingling with the energy of every other thing. How we look out, how we see, matters. How we look upon everything, matters. Look with love not hate. Look with HOPE not disappointment. Look with excitement not dread. Cast your beauty upon beautiful Mother Earth.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look out with HOPE, love and faith.

What made me smile yesterday…

-After an intense hour of a lost purse in Kroger and filing a police report, my cart was found abandoned in produce. I feel sad that someone was too afraid to just take the cart up front and say they took it by mistake. However, I feel blessed that they left it intact. I bless whoever that person it.

-I got a new hedge trimmer. After 3 years of trying to find a gardener who wants to come once a year, I decided to try it myself. Success. I must say I am proud of myself and hey one use of the trimmers has paid for itself.

-A good book.

-A good workout in the gym and out.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
