For your consideration…

You know I love when our message comes in via a song. Usually, I get a tune or few words and then have to find what song it is. However, today I knew the song. It was the song by Kenny Chesney, “When the Sun Goes Down.” In essence it is a song about chilling and relaxing.

We are reminded that we need to relax. We have to let stuff go. We can not keep piling problems, tasks, work etc. on and never let anything go. We can not keep adding to our plate and do more and more at the expense of our down time…our relaxing time…our fun time.

Every single one of us needs to stop and appreciate the fruits of our labor. Every single one of us needs to release negative energy and bring in positive energy. Every single one of us needs to stop and smell the flowers, put our feet on Mother Earth. Every single one of us needs to laugh. Every single one of us needs to stop and take time to do the what we love to do.

We are asked to relax and take time to recharge our energy.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Rest. Relax. Have Fun.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Alex and James are home.

-They picked up their new puppy, Moose, who is adorable, chill and fun.

-A fun day with Shannon, Will, AJ and Mackenzie.

-A beautiful hot sunny day.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
