For your consideration….

Personal power. We are born with it. Frequently we are reminded that we should never give it away. Convenient as it sometimes seems, we should never give our power away to anyone.

Today’s message specifically targets our relationship with professionals. We have to consult professionals for our spiritual, mental and physical health. We need their opinions. We need their knowledge. We need their experience. Then it is up to US to decide what we do with that information.

Many people turn over their power the minute they consult a professional. They forget that they are still in charge and responsible for themselves. We need only look at the opioid epidemic to see the professionals can be wrong. Prescriptions are not always in our best interest. Make no mistake. We doctors and modern medicine are amazing but that does not mean they are infallible. Ultimately WE must decide how we use and incorporate  professional advice.

We are personally responsible for ourselves, always. It is up to us to ask questions, take everything into account and make the final decisions.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate your personal power.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A good snooze.

-Lots of household chores done.

-Dinner at the Sidetrack with Shannon and AJ.

-A good book series.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
