For your consideration….
Certainly we must have had this message before. But it that is the case, it is being repeated for a reason and certainly this one is worth repeating.
The message today has three key points. The first is from the song itself that says, “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine. Ev’ry where I go, I’m gonna let it shine.” Our light is within us. It goes wherever we go and everywhere we go is an opportunity light darkness with it.
The second key part of the message is the one above from Marianne Williamson. Light-workers transform darkness. They make a choice to see and acknowledge the darkness, go into it anyway and light it.
And finally, we are reminded that we don’t have to think about the size of our light. Our light is fueled by love and any light…any love…no matter the size….drives out darkness.
We have a choice. We always have a choice. We are asked to shine our light wherever we go.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all.”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Let your light shine wherever you go.
What made me smile yesterday….
-Oh, those little ones. The giggles and big eyes of wonder.
-A little cooler weather but still fun.
-Mud puddles…some love ’em and others cry if they get wet.
-Catching up with my sister.
