For your consideration…
Wow, two days in a row our message has come in via a song. Today’s song is The Fleetwood Mac song “Don’t stop.” It tells us that “yesterday’s gone” and if we aren’t really happy with where we are, focus on the promise of tomorrow.
It is a good message but needs some qualification. True yesterday’s gone, nothing we can do about it. And for sure, tomorrow holds nothing but promise. But today’s message reminds us that we don’t have to wait for tomorrow. We have right now. There is no time like the present to make our life the wonder it is meant to be. We can choose. We always have a choice. Choose to make TODAY special and wonderful.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Make today special.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Being with Peanut and Shannon.
-Kelsey gave us and amazing tour of the United States Naval Academy. I was surprised at how much more I learned.
-We had a fabulous lunch at McGarveys…best crabcakes ever.
-An amazing dinner at Harry B’s sitting outside listening to the cicadas.
