For your consideration…

Our message today is light-hearted. It tells us not to take ourselves too seriously and be generous with our laughter. Especially be generous with laughing at ourselves.

When we watch bloopers on TV or when we see someone making one in person, we laugh. We are grateful for the light-hearted moments. Yet often we do not see the same thing when it is us making the blooper. We let embarrassment overtake the moment and over shadow it. We let it squelch the humor.

Our message explains that it is all about how the event is labeled.  When we let our ego label something as a mistake or embarrassment, we automatically create a barrier to humor. Yet if we see those same things as bloopers, the barrier is not put up.

The ability to laugh at ourselves is a wonderful tool in our life tool kit. Use it and feel how much lighter the load is. Feel how much brighter life looks. Lighten up.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
