For your consideration….

As I got today’s message, it seemed so familiar. Then when I started looking for a appropriate picture, I remembered seeing the pictures recently. So I did something I never do and I went back and looked earlier in the week and sure enough this was a message this week. So I sat back down and went back into meditation and again asked for the message. The message came back unchanged and unwavering. So here we go again. Perhaps more needs to be said. Perhaps I didn’t do the message justice the first time. Perhaps it is meant for someone who did not see it before. Or perhaps there is an urgency those of us who did to pay attention.

Our message today deals with the verb love versus the noun. Love is alive. It is living. It is an action word. Love is ever-changing, it is in perpetual motion full of life, ideas and emotions. Love surrounds us and is in everything. It can hurt us. It also can bring us peace, contentment and joy in a fulfilled heart.

Love is everywhere. It is so common place that we often do not see it. We hear so many angry shouting voices in the media it is hard to feel the love. Yet, that is the point today. Don’t let angry people water down the love that surrounds us. Choose to let love triumph.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Recognize the love that surrounds you.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A good nights sleep.

-A trip to the area where I grew up for my Uncle Harold’s celebration of life.

-Seeing my sister-in-law, Marie, and my cousins.

-I did an impromptu trip to the cemetery to drop off some flowers for my Mom and Uncle Harold. While I was there, some family showed up. There are no coincidences. I loved it.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
