“Don’t Stop”  (in part)
written by Christie McVie

If you wake up and don’t want to smile
If it takes just a little while
Open your eyes and look at the day
You’ll see things in a different way

Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
It’ll be here better than before
Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone

Why not think about times to come?
And not about the things that you’ve done?
If your life was bad to you
Just think what tomorrow will do

All I want is to see you smile
If it takes just a little while
I know you don’t believe that it’s true
I never meant any harm to you

Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
It’ll be here better than before
Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone

For your consideration…
We have the power to turn things around; our thoughts, deeds, words. If we are not happy, then we are asked to consider taking control and switching things up.
Turn things around. Start with a smile and changing how we are looking at the day. Change our focus from what we don’t want or what went wrong to what we do want and what is right. Rather than thinking about what happened, think about the possibility of what may happen next. Choose for it to be wonderful. Believe it is exactly right.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Don’t stop believing in the power of tomorrow.
What made me smile yesterday….
-Productivity.
-Doing things I love.
-Seeing Mary Claire and Frannie as we set up for the shower.
-A good long nights sleep.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
