For your consideration….

Our message today came in via a song written by Paul McCartney. There is a lot of repetition in the song that I have left out so that we have room for the entire message of it.

“Let It Be”

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be
And when the broken-hearted people
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer
Let it be
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer
Let it be
And when the night is cloudy
There is still a light that shines on me
Shine until tomorrow
Let it be
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be
Today we are given this song to comfort us and remind us that we are not alone. When we don’t know what to do, what the answer is, or how to proceed, we can just surrender and “let it be.” There will be an answer, the fix is in. We just have to sit back and let the power of God work his magic. Sometimes our job is just to pause, have faith and observe the magnificence of his solutions.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….
-Affirm…“I am loved.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday….
-Lots of tasks done.
-I took Bruce and Bob out for Father’s Day…always relaxing and fun.
-A good book.
-Catching up with my sister.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
