For your consideration…

I recognized this message as soon as it came in. It was part of a message I downloaded in a reading I gave a few days ago.

We are asked to change things up. For every 10 things we do, make at least one of them brand new. We are asked to stretch ourselves and reach for new experiences, people and things. We are asked to be more aware and live less automatically.

Besides going for the new. We are reminded we can change-up the “normal.” We can change our route to work, home, the store etc. We can change vacation locations. We can change our morning or evening routine.

Routines are good because they can reduce stress. We can do them automatically while we tackle other tasks. However, they are like anything else. It is about balance. Periodically we need to take a new look at them and see if they still are working for us. Can we change them to be more effective?

What we are asked to do today is not hard and can significantly improve our everyday life. All we are asked to do is be aware of what we are doing, change up a few things and try a few new ones.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Change it up.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Another absolutely beautiful day. In May we had 22 days of rain here so this beautiful weather change is awesome.

-Students are so done and ready to be out for the summer. It is universal in all of our schools.

-I got home from school late. Really considered NOT going to the gym but forged through and did it. I have really got to check my attitude and figure out why some days it is so easy to exercise and others so hard.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
