For your consideration…

Perhaps most of us have a negative impression of “assuming.” We have all heard the saying, “Assuming makes an ass out of you and me.” For sure, assuming can get us in trouble.

Today we are reminded that like everything, there is a balance. Assuming can be positive or negative. We are reminded that if we must assume, then assume the positive. Assume the very best outcome. Assume that everything is exactly as it is supposed to be. Assume that all is well.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

Assume it is all good.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Wonderful first graders.

-They are making a “Mother’s Day” card/book. Yesterday they had 2 pages to complete. One of them was to complete “My mother is beautiful when_______.” My heart was sang when I read what one boy wrote, “My Mother is beautiful when she goes on a date with my Dad.

-A beautiful sunshiny day.

-Dinner out with the birthday boy and Bob.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
