For  your consideration….

“Looks like we made it.” are lyrics from a Barry Manilow song by the same name. It is a love song and the rest of the lyrics are not pertinent to today’s message.

Often we talk ourselves out of something, we discourage ourselves, we doubt ourselves. We remind ourselves of all the reasons why we can’t do something. Our message today is sort of a little nudge to say, “Hey, stop it!”

Instead of telling ourselves we can’t achieve something, we should be reminding ourselves of all that we have accomplished. If we look at all that we have done and been through, we can see our resilience, our brilliance, our fortitude, talent and determination. We are survivors and conquerors of many things we thought we could never do.

So rather than say or think “I can’t” we need to remember that “We can and we will.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Clear your lungs, mind and heart.

-Affirm…”I can.”

What made me smile yesterday….

-So many excited students because it was the last day of school before Spring Break.

-Sunshine.

-A dinner date with my hubby.

-A lot of catching up.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
