For your consideration….

Perhaps you have heard the phrase, “drop out of my life.” Perhaps you have even had the thought. Most people have probably had thought at one time or another, that they wish they were somewhere else, had a different life.

Today we are told that wanting to drop out of our life is not a bad thing. It is simply a reminder that we need to take a step back, need some new perspective or a change.

I’ve written blips here about my recent trip to Utila. It was a self-imposed sabbatical. I had a few ideas of what I might get accomplished (none of which happened) but no real plan except to let the each day unfold as it wanted to.

I realize that not everyone can go away for a month but we can go away for a day, weekend or certainly a few hours. We deserve to take time for ourselves and think about; what is important to us, what is weighing us done, what is no longer relevent, what we would like to change, what our dreams are and the next step to achieving them.

Today’s message is about alone time, all alone, perfectly alone. For some people, that is scary. But our authentic self needs to be heard. It is our connection to our Guidance. It knows our path and knows how to get us there.

We are asked today to “drop out of our daily lives” and spend some alone time with me, myself and I.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Carve out some alone time…..more than an hour or two.

What made me smile yesterday…

-My sweet little kiddos.

-A beautiful sunshiny day.

-Claudia Whitsitt is not only a great author she is such a wonderful resource. I learned so much last night.

-An early bedtime with much to ponder.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
