For your consideration….

Like anything else, what you think about “tooting your own horn” depends on who you are and your life experiences. Our message today offers some food for thought on the subject.

It is the intention behind the “tooting your own horn” that matters. If we are “tooting our own horn” to brag or make others feel inferior, then indeed it is hurtful to self and others.

However, if “tooting our own horn” is used to let others know what we have to offer, if it is used to market ourselves and our talents, then it is a gift to ourselves and others.

Only we know our true intention. We are asked to consider, “tooting our own horn,” signaling we are ready to share our gifts and talents.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm…I have much to offer.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A chill morning.

-A great walk around the lake with my dog. It was his first walk of the year. He was so excited but so exhausted afterward.

-A good book.

-And early bedtime.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
