“My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”…Isaiah 32:18

For your consideration….

Every person needs and deserves a “home…a sanctuary” where they can completely be themselves, relax, feel safe and rest. No two homes are the same because no two people need the same things. Our home is our creation.

Our message today reminds us that it should not matter to us what anyone else thinks. What we create, what feels comfortable for us, is perfect.

So the question we are asked is, “How do we feel when we come home?” Do we have that “ahhh” moment when we come through the door?” If so, it is all good. If not, why not and what can we do to make it so?

Our home is our sanctuary!

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Honor you, honor your safe place, honor your home.

What made me smile yesterday….

-The weather held out enough to get outdoor recess.

-Home.

-An informative class.

-We have a program in our schools, called Project Lead The Way. Yesterday we had it and the students we tasked to build a house of “sticks, straw or bricks” following the Three Little Pigs story. They worked in pairs with minimum input from adults. One pair that was using toothpicks for straw had their house built. It had the toothpicks spaced apart. When asked it they wanted to had any to fill in some of the gaps, Callan responded, “No, I checked it (while blowing on his structure) and the wind goes right through it and it doesn’t blow down.? I love it. I love the thinking. I love the confidence.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
