For your consideration….

Our focus here and as lightworkers is moving forward and growing. So when the message came in today telling us that sometimes we have to “take a step back to try to get a new perspective,” I protested a little. So ultimately the consensus was to “rise above.”

Sometimes we are so caught up in a situation, we can lose perspective. We can be so invested that we can not see clearly. When we are that close to a situation that is very important to us, we often have judgment that is hard to let go. The thing is without judgment it does not matter if we are right or wrong, it just is. It is where we are.

So if we are feeling tied up, stuck, trapped, hurt, angry, frustrated, bored etc., it is time to rise above. It is time to remove ourselves from the situation, rise above and take a fresh look. Detaching can be hard when we are so invested but it is the way forward.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…”I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-My young 5’s. It is hard to briefly explain but during their mindfulness I decided to take them on a mental journey to Utila. We breathed, noticed the air, imagined it changed to very warm, imagined the sun and sea, imagined the taste of the sea, imagined getting warm and going into the cool sea, wading in deeper and laying back on the water, letting our feet float up and then just floating in the sea. (During this whole time, you could have heard a pin drop.) Finally, I asked them to imagine dropping their feet back down to the sand of the sea and standing up. At that time I heard them all burst into laughter. When I opened my eyes and look, I saw that they had literally laid down. They looked like a sun burst with their feet all together in the middle of the circle and their bodies like its rays. Too fun.

-Sunshine.

-I upped my walk to 2 miles.

-An early bedtime.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
