For your consideration….

I am sure we have had messages about whining before. I love them because whining is an absolute pet peeve of mine. Whining is a polite verb. When I was growing up, my Mom was not as polite. She would say “Quit pissing and moaning.”

Anyone can whine. Anyone can sit and do nothing. It becomes a vicious circle, whine…do nothing…whine…do nothing.

When we feel like whining, it is a signal that we are unhappy about something. We have a choice. We always have a choice. We can decide to change or fix the thing or situation that makes us unhappy. Or we can choose to remove ourselves from the situation. We can choose to dismiss it, simply not let it bother us.

Our choice is an action. It is doing something. It changes our attitude. It empowers us. Lightworkers are not whiners. They are doers. They are change agents for good.

Our message today is, “Don’t whine. Shine.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Shine.

What made me smile yesterday….

-By coincidence, I had a lesson planned on currency for my young 5’s. It was perfect for 100’s day. I showed them how $1 is worth 100 pennies and 1 limpura is worth 23 pennies. I had a limpura for each of them wrapped up with a piece of coral same as my class last week. Clearly Roger got the lesson. He asked, “So why are you giving us the limpura and not the dollar?”

-There might have been only a very few minutes that was not raining today and we picked them to get outside. Wahoo!

-My friend, Kathy, is going to be a grandma again. Soooo….excited.

-My own Alex, is actively exploring opportunities for her future. She met with a mentor last night. It is so helpful to bounce ideas off someone with experience.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
