Didn’t I tell you you were gonna break down
Didn’t I warn you, didn’t I warn you
Better take it easy, try to find a way out
Better start believing in yourself

We build it up, we tear it down
We leave our pieces on the ground
We see no end, we don’t know how
We are lost and we’re falling
Hold onto me
You’re all I have, all I have
Hold onto me
You’re all I have, all I have

Now and then there’s a light in the darkness
Feel around till you find where your heart went

From “Pieces”  Writer(s): Matt Serletic, Robert Thomas

For your consideration….

Today’s message acknowledges that we all have dark moments. What we do with them makes all the difference.

When we feel them, we need to address them and not let them grow, congregate and become a pattern of HOPElessness. Feel around till you find where your heart went. Hold on and take your heart to the light even if it is but a flicker. If it is in pieces, take the pieces and surrender them to the light of God and your Guidance. Entrust your heart or its pieces of it to the Source that is all love.

How do you find that one flicker of light? Find one thing to be grateful for. Find one HOPE. Believe in the possibility of it. That is all that it takes.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. I did not do this yesterday and ended up waking up in the middle of the night, cracking a window and taking some breaths. It truly makes a difference.

-Drink lots of water.

-Remember, we are never alone. We have help available 24/7…eternally.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Catching up with Lori, Jackie and Alex.

-Soup on a cold snowy day.

-Some crafting done.

-Joy to be home.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
