For your consideration…

Recently we had a message about life detours. This is sort of a continuation of that message.

Many of our detours are set in place because we have failed to notice the signs along the way. In every given moment we have access to our Guidance. 24/7 our Guidance is helping us. We are just too busy to notice them.

They can be a simple as a random phone call or a chance encounter. They may be things that we see over and over again until we notice them.

For example, recently I had three turkey vultures that I saw over and over throughout the day. They stayed with me until I noticed them and made a mental note to look them up see what turkey vultures represent.

Another day I saw a single pelican. Since I’ve been in Utila, I have not seen another pelican on this beach. But that pelican stayed with me all day until once again I made a mental note to look up the meaning of the pelican. Since I’ve done these things my friends have vanished.

For sure we have big milestones and lessons to learn along our life path to our life purpose. However, some of the detours that are put in our place are results of our lack to notice what is already set in front. These little signs that are put in our path are designed to make our path easier…a path of least resistance.

We may find it difficult at first to be aware and listen, watch, feel, and hear. However, the more we do it the easier it gets. Soon it becomes a habit and daily part of our life and is not difficult at all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good in the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water. It helps with Clarity and helps cleanse the body.

-Get outdoors and taking at least 10 deep breaths. For those living in cold weather this can seem hard in the winter. But it is more necessary than ever to in get fresh air and cleansing breath into our bodies.

– Do something completely unnecessary…something that just makes you happy

-Watch for the signs your Guidance puts in front of you.

What made me smile yesterday….

– A magnificent thunder and lightning storm. Mother Nature is simply astounding. Everything here seems flooded, even the sand. Yet today it’s all gone.

– My computer worked.

– A good book.

– Dinner in town with a new friend, Anne. She is a wonderful artist from Hornby Island in Canada.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
