For your consideration….

But what can I do?

What can I do about politics? What can I do about the problems in Russia or North Korea? What can I do about the heart surgery my friend’s daughter needs Friday? What can I do about world peace? What can I do about friends and family problems?

The answer is, “A lot.

Our message today tells us that focusing on the problem and what we can not do is the problem. We get trapped in judgment.

We all come from a higher source. I call him God. You may call  him something else. The point is that we come from the highest source. We have a direct connection to him. Nothing can break this connection but if we allow it, we can get some kinks in the line. Ego likes to kink up the line with judgment. It likes to create doubt, shame, fear, lack and anger.

But we don’t have to let that happen. We don’t have to place our focus on the problems and our sense of inability to solve them.

Instead we can step over all of that. We can go directly to Source, God. We can suspend judgment and be tolerant. We can tap into a higher consciousness. We can have faith that nothing happens without a reason. God knows what he is doing. Right?

Connecting with our highest source IS doing something. It is HUGE and that is all that we are asked to do. Suspend judgment, turn it over to God and ask that the highest good for all be served. Trust him. Believe in him.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Think about it. If it isn’t for the highest good of all, it can’t be for your highest good either.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Another beautiful day. Meditating outdoors.

-My Tuesday mindfulness get-together….laughter

-And suddenly, I turned around and all that I thought I had to do was done.

-I heard from both of my girls. Shannon made me laugh. Only Shannon can get crappy news and turn it into a funny story.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
