For your consideration...

Our message is simple. Don’t trip over what is right in front of us.

It is good to plan and have goals. However, we cross the line when they consume our present moment causing us to trip over our next or miss it completely.

It is easy to do. It is easy to let our mind wander and get wrapped up in plans and/or concerns for the future. But we must be careful not to miss what is right in front of us right now.

We often hear and I often write that there are no coincidences. That traffic delay, the bird with the incessant call, the geese crossing the road, the phone call just when you are thinking of someone, a peacock screaming in your yard, a toad on your window, butterflies circling around your or ladybugs on your stairs in the winter etc., are signs put in front of us to draw our attention to the here and not. They are “pause” buttons meant to make us be fully present in the moment we are in.

What is right in front of us is important. It was put there for a reason. We are asked today to notice it and consider the “why.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

See what is right in front of you.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A great snooze with the windows open and cool night air.

-James’ parents came to spend the day with us.

-A great lunch on the water and a day outdoors seeing the locations picked out for the wedding.

-A night in with a great dinner and fun visiting.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
