For your consideration……
Today we are being asked to consider changes. What is the first feeling you have when “change” to your life is mentioned? It probably depends on how your life is going at the moment. If you feel it is in the toilet, you probably are thinking, “thank God.” If you are sailing along pretty comfy and happy, you may think, “that’s ok I’m fine right where I’m at.”
For years we have heard the saying, “nobody likes change”. It is easy to buy into that. But it is an effort wasted on futility because we are ever-changing because we are evolving. We are evolving through the life lessons that potentially can elevate us to our highest path.That is a good thing.
Even if we could freeze ourselves, it would not be the same because everything around us is constantly changing. That’s just life. So rather than stew about it or resist it, why not embrace it? Why not welcome it with an attitude of gratitude, love and trust? Why not lighten up? As Jimmy Buffet says….
Its these changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes
Nothing remains quite the same
With all of our running and all of our cunning
If we couldn’t laugh we would all go insane
Today is a gift. It is the HOPE you embrace it with some Love and Laughter.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take….
-Mediate…for as long as you can. Do you have something your really want? Meditate on that “intention”.
-Drink lots of water.
-Take at least 10 deep breaths. Breath in love and joy. Breath out anger and disappointment.
-If you have someone who has been on your mind, contact them. There is a reason they popped into your head.
What made me smile yesterday….
-I was a machine at getting things done. Errands check, shopping check, getting it put away check, dinner check.
-We have a time. Alex is coming for a visit. Wahoo.
-I saw old friends, by accident. Don’t you love synchronicity?
