For your consideration….

Reality hits when what we know or think we know becomes real. It happens to all of us throughout our life.

For example, we know there is war and it is terrible and then we have to live or serve in war. We know there is death and then a loved one dies. We know our children will grow up and move away and then they do. We know there is cruelty in the world and then we experience it.

Our message today tells us that it isn’t always the reality that gets us. It is the “knowing.” Once reality hits it can’t be undone. The real becomes real and we can not go back. We can not “unknow” what we know.

We are reminded that the world around us is the same as it was before it became “real” for us. Life is still marching on. We are still marching with it. We will continue to march along until we ultimately march into our next life. While it may seem impossible, we are asked to find comfort in this. We are asked to find peace in the continuity.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Breath.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-My favorite 5th graders.

-A beautiful sunshiny day.

-Catching up with Jackie….finally.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
