For your consideration….
We have lots of messages about owning our power, never giving it away and making our own choices.
Today’s message is a little different. It is about choices that have been put in our path that we did not pick. Perhaps it is a situation or people. Perhaps we end up in a location that we had no intention of being at. They weren’t our picks. We didn’t make a choice for these yet here we are. It is our choice on how we deal with the what, where and who that we share that moment in time with.
Our message today reminds us that these unexpected you picks that have been placed in front of us offer us unexpected opportunities to learn and grow. They force us out of our comfort zone and allow us to do new things, meet new people or see new places.
It is all good.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Welcome the unexpected “your picks.”
What made me smile yesterday….
-Catching Jody early in her morning.
-Great 3rd graders. One of them said he was a parent “pick-up.” When I get him to the designated spot, he tells me his little brother should also be there. “Should we go look for him?” I ask. “No. I didn’t see him. Maybe he is getting on the bus.” “So should we be going to go get him?” Cameron, “No, he knows if we are supposed to ride the bus or not.”
That was a new one for me. A student has to ask their baby brother how they are getting home.

-A new book.
