For your consideration….

We are born bonded to our mother. It is a bond that is never meant to be broken. It spans life and death times.

The lessons our mothers teach us are meant to strengthen our core value system. They are not just instructions for childhood. This Mother’s Day is a good day to remember a few of them….

-Treat others the way you want to be treated.

-Be kind.

-Be truthful. Don’t lie or cheat.

-Be respectful.

-Always do what is right.

-Stand up for what you believe in but….

-…Follow the law.

-Go play outside.

-Love one another.

-Listen. (My mom was a little more colorful on this one. She used to say, “Don’t let your mouth overrun your  a _ _.”

-Work hard.

-Don’t pay attention to mean people.

-Love God.

-Love your country. Stand up for the pledge of allegiance, national anthem and flag.

-Follow your dreams. You can do it.

-Listen to your mother.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remember your mother.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Successful shopping.

-A wonderful, perfect temperature day with lots of sun.

-Prepping for tomorrow. A good kitchen day.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
