For your consideration….

My husband, Bruce, loves this quote, “Many hands make light work.” This quote was first translated in English back in the 1300’s so it is not a new concept.

I’m sure most of us agree that when people chip in and do part of the work, the task is both easier, lighter and gets accomplished more quickly.

Our message today reminds us that we all have a role in today. No matter where we are or what we are doing, we have a role. We are asked to remember that for a couple of reasons. First of all because the more people who step up and do their part, the easier and better this day will be. The second is to remind us of our value and the need for us to put it to good use.

Each and every moment of this day we can choose to make it better and easier by lending our hands to the good work of it. Or we can be a bystander and let others carry the load working harder than necessary.

It is our choice. We always have a choice.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE actions steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Make today’s hard work light by doing our fair share.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A beautiful day.

-Finishing my rough draft and getting it back to Janice.

-Finishing a good book.

-Joy.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
