For your consideration….

I probably write this every year but I will write it again because I am sure it is the seed that began today’s message. I am always very sad on Good Friday. My heart aches when I read the horror of it. Yet it is called Good Friday. It is not called Bad Friday. It is called Good Friday because we know the outcome. We know “the other side.”

And that is today’s message. Every moment has a purpose and there is always another side. There is always light after dark. There is always good after evil. There is always calm after a storm. There is always joy after despair. There is always happiness after sadness. We just have to choose to know it and believe it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Never lose faith and HOPE.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A beautiful day.

-I had a lot of students missing. We were able to get all of our work done early and spend a whole hour outside. There is nothing like God’s children’s laughter to remind you of “the other side” of sadness.

-A good meeting with my editor.

-Passing on traditions. You got to love my Alex. She likes to get a “second opinion” and always seems shocked to get the same answer.

-Catching up with Jody.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
