For your consideration….

We hear it all of the time. See see it in dramas on TV and the big screen. Witnesses give different “stories” to what they saw. How do we witness the same event and have different versions?

We are reminded today that our life experiences create lens through which we view life. Life experiences color how we look at life and life events. Life experiences create  our priorities and how we view life going forward.

We are reminded of this today for a couple of reasons. First, for tolerance. Just because we see life differently does not automatically make us bad people. It does not make us enemies. We have to remember that we all have life filters through which we see life through. We need to respect and honor each other for them.

Secondly, our filters can pick up a lot of clutter or dirt. That is why it is important that we spend part of each day in silence and reflection. It is in the silence that our authentic self tells us what is truth and should be kept and what we need to release and let go.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Listen.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A day off.

-A good book.

-Looks of tasks at home done.

-We tried some groceries from a new market. Yeah, maybe we have found a replacement for our old one that sold to a chain.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
