For your consideration….

First let me say I’m as surprised as you about the analogy today. HOPEfully this has never happened to  you or if it has it has been a long time ago because the lesson was learned. Our analogy compares life out of control to drinking too much and getting the spins. Yikes….I know.

Anyway, if we lie down after having too much to drink, we may suffer from the spins. To stop them we have to put a foot on the floor. Our life can sometimes feel like it is spinning out of control. Our message today tells us to “put a foot on the ground.”

How do we do that? We remember what we know for sure. We pick that one thing that we are sure of and pull it out to anchor us. We focus on that until we realize that we are not spinning out of control because we have that sure held anchor that will not let us down. It will not give weigh unless we pull it up. We have control.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take control.

What made me smile yesterday….

-My sister, Denise, who has passed woke me up. It was her birthday and just wanted to make sure we remember.

-Our other sister, Lori, called and we had a long talk and share.

-Carol and I went out to lunch for our birthdays.

-Shopping done.

-Finally catching up with Alex.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
