For your consideration….

Today we are given this analogy. When we put something in our mouths and discover it is spoiled, or tastes terrible, is too hot and burns us,  or too tart etc., we spit it out. We do not continue to eat it and w don’t go back for seconds.

So too with negativity. When people say or do things that are not good for us or are even hateful, we need to push it out. We need to get rid of it and not let it permeate into our lives. If it is not good for our soul, not helpful or negative, we need to spit it out and not let it spoil the purity and goodness of our love, faith, joy and HOPE.

“Every day you  must unlearn the ways that hold you back.

You must rid yourself of negativity, so you can learn to fly.

Leon Brown

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Spit it out…..all of it. If it is not positive, get rid of it.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Great kids…noisy but great.

-Sun and it was warm enough for recess.

-I tracked down Peanut’s missing birthday gift.

-Kathy and Nick treated the February birthday girls to dinner. It was fun.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
