For your consideration….

Probably all of our mothers at one time or other said, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.” That always sounded great because we understood the lesson at its simplest form. Be kind. Be nice.

As we grow, we realize that this simple lesson sometimes seems to be at odds with, “Stick up for yourself.” or “Speak up for what is right.” etc.

Today’s message tells us that they are not at odds. All of the above is correct when we add intention, HOPE, faith, love and non-judgment. AND we remember that God is in charge.

We may disagree. Our reaction makes all of the difference. Do we disagree with a loving or hateful heart. Are we HOPEing for the best outcome for the highest good of all or are we expecting and working for failure? Are we using words of encouragement? Are we putting forth productive ideas or just bashing what we don’t like? Are we being discerning with what we listen to and see or are we simply parroting it.

We need look no farther than our election process prior, during and post to see examples of our message. We are bombarded by all of the media trying to influence us one way or another. There is so much of it, we would be hard put to find time to sort it all out. So turn it off. Don’t listen to it.

Don’t listen to it because it is a symptom of something that is far bigger. We have been told over and over that change is coming in the UNIVERSE. We have been told over and over to be ready and embrace it, be part of it, work in the light.

We are reminded to be a Lightworker. Our thoughts become words. Our words become actions. The reality is that either we have faith and HOPE or we do not. We believe God knows what he is doing or we don’t. There is no middle ground. As Lightworkers, our job is to promote the highest good of all. Our job is to be a force for good. Does that mean we don’t have concerns or disagreements? No! It means that we don’t look at them through the judging eyes of the ego. Instead we look at them through the loving eyes of our authentic self. We express our concerns, ask our Guidance for guidance and resolution. Then let it go. If we are called to action, so be it. If not, so be it.

Remember, we can always tell where our words, thoughts and actions are coming from. If we feel frustrated, angry and anxious, they are coming from our ego. If we feel love and loved, they are coming from our authentic self-directed by our Guidance.

I remind you, that if you are here, you are or are being called to be a Lightworker. Call up your love, HOPE and faith and let it be the filter through which you think, speak and act.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Tune out the media. Listen to your Guidance. It is always right.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A day off.

-Great pictures and a video from Alex and James at Whistler.

-A good book.

-Hot soup on a cold day.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
