For your consideration….

We just can’t help ourselves. It’s a habit. We meet people and we want to know who they are. We ask questions. We ask them what they “do,” if they have a family, what they like to do, what they’ve done in their life etc. And people ask us the same questions and we have answers for them.

The thing is we believe the things we say. Of course, they are true. But the “reality”….what is real…is that is NOT who we are. Deep down we know this. We know this because we know there is much more to a person. Deep down we know that there is much more to us but we minimize it.

The words we use to describe who we are and the face we show most often are those of our ego. They are a litany of our past that we use to describe ourselves.

Our message today reminds us that is NOT who we are. All that I am is so much more.

All that I am encompasses all that I ever have been and all that I ever will be. All that I am is infinite. When we let our ego or past describe us we minimize ourselves. Our dreams are too small. our love to selective, our faith compromised and our HOPE dimmed.

We are all a piece of the limitless Universe and a piece of God himself. We have no limits except those we put on ourselves.

Our message today asks us to change our narrative. We are asked to define ourselves in terms of our power and open-ended possibilities. We can be grateful for every encounter, person and experience we have, even if we don’t know the why, because we know they are intricate to our successful future and all that I am.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Believe in the power of you and your infinite possibilities.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Breakfast with Mary.

-A good book.

-A short nap.

-Happy hour with Pam at Real Seafood.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
