For your consideration….

We are often reminded to stay fully present in the moment. For sure, it is key to making the most of it. However, today’s message tells us that there is value to routines and traditions. At first this seems like a conflict of message, but as it is explained we realize it is not.

To grow we need to stretch. We need to embrace what comes across our path. We need to be unafraid of the new and change. Our routines and traditions are part of our foundation that allow us to do this.

Routines and traditions are often automatic. We don’t have to think about them much. They can sustain us. This leaves us with the freedom to reach for and embrace the new opportunities that are presented to us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be grateful for the “norm”….traditions and routines.

What made me smile yesterday….

-An easy school day with great kids.

-We were finally able to get outside for recess…..good for all of us.

-Catching up with Jackie, Lori and Alex.

-The Christmas cards are rolling in. Love it!

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
