For you consideration…..

When a was a lot younger, I lived in Los Angeles, CA. Back then the sporting events were not a lot of money and my husband and I would frequently attend ball games. One night during half-time, they announced that wanted everyone to get out lighters or matches. They wanted us to be ready to light them when they shut out the stadium lights. This was a symbolic gesture that each of us could do to honor our astronauts who had landed on the moon. Now I don’t know if the astronauts could really see the stadium go dark and light back up. But I do remember two things that have stuck with me. The first thing was it felt good that I could do something. I had a part to play. It was like being part of a big prayer for the accomplishment of these men and our country as well as a wish for their safe return. The second thing was how amazed I was that the whole stadium was lit by each person holding one little flame. This was four decades ago and I still remember it.

And so it is with each of us. We sometimes feel small and don’t see how we can make a difference. But that is our ego talking again minimizing us. Each of us is like that little flame. We each have a part to play to light up the world. A kind word or a small smile changes everything around you and it is contagious.

If you consciously decide to use your light energy, to make this moment, this planet a better place, you are a lightworker. That is all it takes. You have a choice. You always have a choice. It is the HOPE you choose to share your light for the highest good of all.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate. Don’t forget to ask your ego to step outside while you do.

-Drink lots of water.

-Take deep breaths bringing in joy, breathing out all you don’t need or want.

-Play, have fun, smile, laugh.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Jason and Cassie got their new house. Some things are just meant to be.

-Alex is joyous in Key West.

-Shannon is joyous with the start of vacation.

-Talk about synchronicity or being on the same page. I was still in my PJ’s when my friend, Carol popped in my head. I called and said, “How about lunch.” She said, “I was just thinking about calling you. I am 2 minutes away.”

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
