For your consideration….

We have heard these sayings, “There’s no such thing as a sure thing.” “No one’s right a 100% of the time.”

Logically we know this must be true. Yet sometimes we let our ego lead the way to blindly following a person, an organization, a political party, the government, a church, a union, an employer, a cause, family etc. When we have commonality, we feel a bond. We feel like we belong. It is a good thing. It is comforting.

But our message today cautions us. No one person, persons or group is 100% right 100% of the time. Often over time we come to accept “overlooking” those attitudes, choices, opinions, deeds etc. that deep down we don’t agree with or worse yet feel are wrong. We overlook them because we do not want to be shunned by our group.

Uncomfortable as it may be sometimes, we must stay true to our authentic self. We must say and do what we know to be the truth as dictated to us by our authentic self. It is how we make the Universe a better place. The world needs leaders. Everyone who follows their true self is a leader.

We are promised this. It may not always be easy to follow our authentic self’s lead but it will always lead to what is best for our higher good and the higher good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Follow your authentic self’s lead.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-An easy day with a good book.

-Talking with my Sis and feeling our Mom’s presence in our lives.

-Boys….I wasn’t smiling at the time but by the end of the day I was laughing.

-Good soccer games.

-Being with my grandkids.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
