For your consideration…

Wherever we go, there are life “assists.” There are road signs. There are handrails. There are “warning” signs. Some of us have cars with parking assist….cars park themselves. There are a multitude of charities to address essential needs. In a nutshell where a need is identified, an assist is put into play.

This is all good.

But as in everything else there, there can be too much of a good thing. We can tip the balance between help and harm. We are cautioned to not let assists become excuses. We are cautioned not to let tools become crutches. Just because there is an assist available does not mean that everyone needs it or should have it or use it.

There is no replacement for personal responsibility. It is up to each individual to stretch for what we want and need. It is not up to anyone else to provide it. Our own happiness and life purpose is for us to identify and achieve. No one else can do it for us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Step up to the plate and be all we can be.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A day off.

-Finally catching up with Sandy. Thanks, for breakfast.

-A pharmacist that was so helpful. I felt better within a half hour of his suggestion.

-Counting the days to hug my girl.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
