For your consideration….

Before we get mad, sad, irritated, ticked off, offended, have hurt feelings etc., we need to ask ourselves if it is justified. We can save ourselves a lot of grief if we can pause and make sure the slight is intended.

For a slight to be intended and effective the perpetrator has to be on the same page as we are. They have to “speak the same language.” They have to know the effect of their actions or words.

Today our message wants us to realize that sometimes our hurt feelings are self-inflicted because the words or actions of others never meant to do harm. The other person simply does not relate the same way we do. Their mental model is not the same as ours.

We can be hurt, angered or offended without letting it wound our heart. It all goes back to intention and understanding and honoring our differences.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Pause before we leap to conclusions.

What made me smile yesterday….\

-My last day with my kiddos. I’ll only see them occasionally now.

-Beautiful cards from them.

-Lots of hugs.

-A wonderful picture from them.

-A gorgeous plant for my front porch from Olivia.
