Dear God,
I give this day to You.
May my mind stay centered on the things of spirit.
May I not be tempted to stray from love.
As I begin this day, I open to receive You.
Please enter where You already abide.
May my mind and heart be pure and true, and may I not deviate from the things of goodness.
May I see the love and innocence in all mankind, behind the masks we all wear and the illusions of this worldly plane.
I surrender to You my doings this day.
I ask only that they serve You and the healing of the world.
May I bring Your love and goodness with me, to give unto others wherever I go.
Make me the person You would have me be.
Direct my footsteps, and show me what You would have me do.
Make the world a safer, more beautiful place.
Bless all Your creatures.
Heal us all, and use me, dear Lord, that I might know the joy of being used by You. Amen.

Excerpted from ILLUMINATA

For your consideration……

I love the above morning prayer by Marianne Williamson from her book Illuminata. This morning I was reminded of the line from it, Please enter where your already abide. And I was reminded of a actions I take when I prepare to do a reading. I was reminded of how odd it felt when I first started doing these things but how right they now feel.

Today’s message tells us that most of us have reality and illusion reversed. We live with our ego front and center and keep our authentic self in the background and private. Our lives can and will have a dramatic change when we make the change and let our authentic self take the lead and be ever-present to not only ourselves but others as well.

How do we make this shift? We become aware and make choices. Let me give you a couple of examples.

Each and every morning when I sit down to meditate/pray, I say, “God, Archangel Metatron, Archangel Michael, all my angels and guides, White Eagle, Lydia and Lillie….please come in where you already abide.

God and the angels and guides I specifically name are the ones I work most closely with.  I know they are every present, however, when I greet them and invite them to share my day, I remind my self to put my authentic self first and to ask for support and help in all that I endeavor. Do I forget sometimes? You bet. None the less, I start each day with the intention and invitation.

Here is another example that I was reminded about this morning. When I do readings, it is important that my client’s highest good be first and foremost. I ask my ego to step down and physically get up and usher it out the door and close it. Some people I know have a box or jar they put it in. Did this seem silly at first? Oh yeah. But I can assure you that it works. Following the intention with action changes the energy and creates the space needed to do a good job for the client.

Any action that acknowledges our God, Angels, Guides…..the Divine Universe…..invites our authentic self to step forward. It puts our authentic self in the first position in this moment. And that is a good thing. Little actions can have enormous impact.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Great your Guidance and invite them to step forward into the first position to work with you throughout your day.

We

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Breakfast with Lena and Gordie.

-AJ, Bruce and I had a great flight to Seattle.

-Both James and Alex picked us up. It was a tough ride through the traffic made better because we were all together. My friends know how I love that. We used to joke about having tough discussions with our kids when we had them captive in the car and their only other option was to jump out of a moving vehicle.

-James and Alex’s new home is beautiful with a unbelievable view. Sitting out in the fresh air around a fire on a chilly evening is heavenly.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
