For your consideration…..

Some of you may recognize this photo. It is from a “Clorox Bleachable Moments” commercial. I just love it.

Any one with kids have watched this happen. They’ve waited until the last-minute to get to the bathroom and now are in a panic. The little boy in this commercial has waited to long, raced to the bathroom only to have trouble getting his belt undone. He struggles with it and then calls out, “Mom, we have a situation.”

Our message is about choice of words and the attitude/intention behind them. Compare the words “problem versus situation.” Situation is so much more HOPEful than problem. In this video the little boy’s attitude depicts confidence. Yes, he can’t master his belt right now but he has an “ace in the hole”….his mom.

When we run into situations, there is no need to panic. There is already a solution in play. The sooner we know that the sooner we can see it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be conscious of our words and intentions.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A lazy day.

-Weeding done.

-A good book.

-Jody and Alex finally got to meet up.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris

Happy Birthday Mom and Jodie
