For your consideration…..

I love ideas. I love tips. I love solutions. I love gathering them and sharing them. So I love today’s message.

First we are reminded that rocks and stones carry energy…everything carries energy…but today we are talking about rocks and stones. Many rocks and crystals carry special energy and healing properties. It is a study unto itself. Frankly, I can not remember them all but I have some help via reference tools. I frequently use Toni Carmine Salerno’s Crystal Oracle cards. I also refer to The Book Of Stones by Robert Simmons and Naisha Ahsian.

The picture above is a jar I keep on my bedside with various stones that I can use as I feel the need. I where an amethyst and rarely go anywhere without it which is handy when I don’t have a pocket (a real pet peeve of mine about women’s clothing.) I pulled a couple of stones out that I was drawn to. Some right here in Michigan and some in various places I have traveled.

Today’s message is a helpful hint. Keep a rock in your pocket. Why? There are various reasons. Here is a few;

-Use it as a worry stone. When stressed, simply put your hand in your pocket, rub it and take some deep breaths.

-Use it as a reminder to breath, stay calm, something you need to get accomplished etc.

-Use it to remind you of a mantra you want to keep present.

-Use it to remind you to be present in this moment.

-Use it to remind you that you are never alone. You have access to help 24/7 via you Guidance.

-Use it to keep calm. Let it occupy your hands versus biting your nails, clenching your fists, shaking or wringing your hands.

-Use it to remember your blessings and all you are grateful for.

I am sure you can think of many more things. Actually we don’t have to  have a reason to have a stone in our pocket when we put it there. We can assign it a task later on an as needed basis. It is just a handy little tool…a little gift.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Put a stone in your pocket. It doesn’t have to be pretty. Just pick up one that you are drawn too.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A “mindfulness” get together.

-Lunch with my friend, Carol.

-Getting some things together for Alex.

-Little nagging tasks done.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
