For your consideration….

I was absolutely joyous to receive this message today. Quite simply it reminds us that friends are a blessing, a gift from God, a new tool to add to our life tool box.

Personally, I can not imagine a life without good friends. I remember looking at my mother and realizing that she had “lifelong” friends and thinking that it spoke to the true measure of who she was.

Friends let you be exactly who you are. They stand by you when you make mistakes. They hold your secrets. They listen. They share your burdens and celebrate your successes. They laugh and cry with you. Friends want only the best for you.

Distance is not a factor. Time is not a factor. When friends connect, it is though there is no distance and no time has passed. They pick up right where they left off.

Friendships are not made from one thing or in one moment. They are grown from millions of words and actions that ferment and grow.

Friends don’t need words and are comfortable in silence. They just know what each other is thinking. They know their heart.

Pause and reflect on how lucky you are to have your friends in your life.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate friendship.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Getting reasonable plane tickets to see our daughter.

-I avoid doing my grocery shopping at my local Kroger but yesterday was painless. Wahoo.

-It was my pleasure and joy to take a couple Dads out for Father’s day.

-Knock on wood. Have we finally got easy to maintain landscaping? So far it has been easy since it was redone.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
